**Please contact us regarding the Maryland Handgun Qualification License (HQL) before you purchase this course. As of 11/21/23 the HQL was ruled unconstitutional. The state of Maryland has 21 days to file an appeal; therefore, we are waiting to see what happens.** Contact us here: info@fouroaksfirearmstraining.com The Handgun Qualification License course is for those wishing to purchase, rent or receive a regulated firearm in the state of Maryland. This class is a hybrid course of online and in person training. How it works: 1. Book this class online 2. We will email you to setup an in person training date (Different than the date you picked to sign up for) 3. Once the in person date is scheduled we will email you the online course code (comes from the NRA) 4. Complete and pass the online course prior to your in person training date 5. Show up on the in person training date 6. Done! Handgun Qualification License training is a minimum four-hour block of instruction which includes classroom instruction on state firearm law, home firearm safety, handgun mechanisms and operation, and a component that requires the applicant demonstrate the ability to safely fire a handgun We do not guarantee your application will be approved by the state of Maryland. The cost of this course includes the range fee, materials and targets. **HQL Applicants** - Fingerprints are required with your application. We do not offer fingerprinting services. **There are no refunds for this course once you are sent the course code!** Please note that our range is a private facility that does not have amenities. You must bring your own food and water. If you need to use the restroom, there are several places within a few minutes.

Cancellation Policy

In Person Classes: If your cancellation is at least 7 days prior to the class, you will receive a full refund minus the credit card fee. If your cancellation is less than 7 days prior to the class, we will allow you to reschedule your course. You can only reschedule two times. After the second reschedule there is a $30 fee to change your course date. Absolutely no refunds or account credits for no shows. Online or Blended Classes: Absolutely no refunds once the course code or material are sent to you. Otherwise, the in person policy applies. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.
